Reaching Comorian Farmers Through CATI

Comoros is an island country where agriculture remains an important part of rural life, food supply and household income. Farmers produce cassava, bananas and coconuts for local consumption, while vanilla, cloves and ylang-ylang contribute to the country’s commercial and export economy. But limited farmland, changing weather, access to markets and the movement of produce between islands can make agricultural livelihoods challenging.

Technology is helping researchers get closer to these realities.
